People Administrator job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive People Administrator to join our central People Team at the University of Kent Academies Trust. This role will support the delivery of HR, payroll and recruitment administration across the Trust, helping to ensure our people processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and professionally.
Whether you are an experienced administrator looking to develop a career in HR, or someone with existing HR administration experience seeking a new challenge, you will find a supportive environment where learning and professional development are encouraged. As a member of the People Team, you will provide administrative support across a broad range of activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HR systems administration and payroll data processing. You will help ensure information is maintained accurately, documentation is processed efficiently and colleagues receive a responsive and professional service. Working closely with the People Officer and Senior People Officer, you will contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations and support the delivery of a positive employee experience across the Trust.
Most importantly, you will be a highly organised and dependable team member with excellent attention to detail, a commitment to confidentiality and a genuine desire to support others. Through your work, you will play an important role in helping our academies attract, support and retain the talented staff who make a difference to the lives of young people every day.
