• Working pattern: Part time: The hours of work as a SEND Teaching Assistant will be 9.00am to 12.00 and 1.30pm to 3.05pm Monday to Friday for 39 weeks per year. The role of Midday supervisor at lunchtime will cover the hours 12.00 to 1.00pm Monday to Friday.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: TA role £20,043 per annum and MDS role £18,516

Permanent SEND Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor job summary

The Governors of our friendly and successful school are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to help us achieve our aims of getting the best from all our children in their learning and personal development.

You will:

• Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.

• Have completed or be willing to complete NVQ level 2 in childcare learning and education or equivalent qualification.

• Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective.

• Be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff.

• Be an excellent communicator.
