Purpose of the Post:

To provide outstanding leadership for phase 2, ensuring high-quality teaching, strong phonics provision, and excellent pupil outcomes in both phases. The postholder will be responsible for driving improvements in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to secure strong Good Level of Development (GLD) outcomes and ensuring that Key Stage One assessment outcomes, including Phonics Screening Check results, meet or exceed national expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a leadership role within EYFS or KS1

Experience in leading phonics and early reading across a school

Knowledge of best practices in early intervention and inclusion

Experience in successfully raising GLD and KS1 outcomes
