What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an organised and approachable Primary Phase Administrator to join our team. This is a varied role at the heart of our Primary Phase and Nursery, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for pupils, families, staff, visitors and external agencies.
You will play a key role in coordinating reception and administrative services, supporting nursery admissions and funding processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, delivering excellent customer service, and making a positive contribution to the educational experience of children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Primary Phase reception and administrative service.
- Acting as the main point of contact for nursery families and supporting admissions enquiries.
- Managing nursery admissions, waiting lists, session allocations and transitions.
- Administering nursery funding processes, including eligibility checks and funding claims.
- Maintaining accurate pupil and nursery records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing high-quality customer service and responding professionally to a range of enquiries.
- Supporting the safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
