Procurement and Contracts Officer job summary
Post title: Procurement and Contracts Officer
Contract: Permanent, part-time 18.5 hours per week, all year round (potential for role to grow)
Salary: Scale Point 26-31 £36,124 - £40,476 (pro-rata)
Base: Trust location with travel to schools and flexible working from home
Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Start Date: 1st May 2025
The Trust seeks to appoint a new Procurement and Contracts Officer, on a part time, permanent, hybrid basis all year round to be part of the Central Team of the Trust. Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of a contract register and procurement for the Trust as required to support the strategic development of schools and the Trust. The post-holder will be expected to ensure sustainable procurement and adherence to public contracts regulation to enable the Trust to achieve its aims and objectives through the efficient resource spend. Promoting best practice and ensuring compliance in line with the Trust’s policies. You must support the Catholic values and ethos of the Trust and its Schools.
