  • Salary: £32,205 - £36,084 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
  • Actual salary: £19,148 - £21,455 per annum

West Suffolk College is looking for a Programme Tutor - Human Resources to join our apprenticeship and higher education team. You’ll primarily deliver HR apprenticeship programmes, supporting learners to develop the professional knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful careers in Human Resources and people management. Through engaging teaching, coaching and mentoring, you’ll help apprentices apply their learning in the workplace and achieve their full potential.

You’ll manage your own caseload of apprentices, providing training, support and assessment throughout their apprenticeship and preparing them for their End Point Assessment. Working closely with the Programme Lead and Head of Department, you’ll help ensure learners make good progress and receive the support they need to succeed.

We’re looking for someone with experience in Business, Management, and Human Resources, and ideally qualified to Level 3 or above. Experience within HR is particularly desirable, as a significant proportion of our apprenticeship delivery for this role and learner support is focused on HR programmes. Previous teaching or training experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided. Much of our HR delivery and learner support is carried out remotely, so you’ll need to be confident managing your own workload, building relationships virtually, and working independently. While the role is largely home-based, there will be occasions where travel is required to visit employers, learners, and colleagues across the East of England. If you have relevant industry experience and are passionate about helping others develop and succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
