What skills and experience we're looking for

We are recruiting for aReceptionist / Administration Assistant to join our successful team at The Portsmouth Academy. We are looking for a well-organised, efficient and enthusiastic person to assist in supporting the Office Manager by providing a range of administrative support and a reception service.

You will provide a friendly, welcoming, first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and staff. You will have the ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions in a methodical manner whilst working to tight deadlines.

  • Able to provide a friendly, welcoming, first point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and staff
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communication skills and customer focused
  • High standards and attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in a similar role or educational setting

Working hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 3.30pm Friday
