What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our new secondary school (with sixth form provision). You will be the first point of contact for school visitors and will play a key role in ensuring our school office runs smoothly.
As our Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, you will be the heart of our office support team, your core duties will be acting as the first point of call for staff and visitors, answering and directing calls, assisting with school letters, signing pupils in and out, ensuring stationary and first aid stock is replenished, and taking minutes of meetings.
You will be a friendly face ready to support our staff, pupils and the wider community; greeting and answering queries from parents or carers, welcoming visitors and ensuring they sign in and wear suitable visitor badges to maintain a safe school environment.
This role is ideal for administrators with strong communication skills who enjoy helping people.
You will:
- Hold in depth knowledge of admin and office systems
- Experience in a role with administrative duties
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and in writing
