Receptionist/Administrator job summary
The postholder, under the direction and supervision of their line manager, will provide a professional, welcoming, and
efficient reception, clerical, and administrative support service to the Academy.
As the first point of contact for many visitors, the postholder will play a key role in creating a positive and friendly environment, ensuring that all pupils,
parents, staff, visitors, and stakeholders feel valued, supported, and well-informed
You will:
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with all people/situations at all levels, building good relationships with parents, pupils and other stakeholders
Have experience of managing sensitive and confidential information, an awareness of safeguarding and GDPR
Be able to multitask and prioritise workloads, responding to changing priorities, remaining calm under pressure
Have excellent administration skills and proven experience using databases and Microsoft applications
Enjoy being part of a small team in a school environment and have a great sense of humour!
Experience and knowledge of an education environment and the use of Arbor or other pupil management systems, is desirable.
