We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to join the school team and to ensure the smooth running of the office, for April 2026.
You will need to have school office experience, a friendly but professional telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with children, staff, parents, and visitors. We require you to have excellent IT and interpersonal skills and to be highly motivated.
Other essential qualities include absolute confidentiality, the ability to follow safeguarding procedures, good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative, manage under pressure and to meet deadlines.
If you can say ‘yes’ to all of the above, you could be the ideal candidate to contribute to the continuous improvement of our happy, friendly and successful school.
Hours of Work: Thursday-Friday 8.15am – 3.30pm, with half an hour for lunch.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Efficient and well organised, with the ability to multi task.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as you will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and children.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office (Excel, Pupil Asset, creating data reports).
- Experience using Desktop publishing services to produce promotional documents and curriculum support materials would be desirable.
