Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6

(£20,497.17 - £21,940.53 per annum)

35 hours per week

8.15am - 4.00pm (Monday-Friday) with a 45 minute unpaid lunch break.

38 weeks of the year - term time plus inset days

Start Date: 9th November 2026

An opportunity has become available to appoint a permanent Receptionist to join our busy school office.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be the first point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and take messages where appropriate
  • Ensure Reception and telephones are covered at all times
  • Provide First Aid, administer medications for students and manage medications
  • Arrange and distribute letters
  • Communicate with parents using current systems
  • Be responsible for the sorting and distributing of incoming post
  • Provide general clerical support as required
  • Access information on Bromcom system as appropriate

Administration duties, including but not limited to, book labels, checking deliveries, ordering stationary/first aid, creating and distributing School Newsletter, maintaining club registration, printing test papers
