Residential Educational Visits Coordinator job summary
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable learning experiences for children? Join us as our new Trip Coordinator at St Barnabas Church Of England Multi Academy Trust and help us deliver our ambitious “Bring It!” vision.
As Trip Coordinator, you will plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of enriching trips, visits, and residentials for pupils in years 2 to 6 across our Trust schools. You’ll ensure every activity supports our curriculum and inspires adventure, while also providing vital administrative support to our Outdoor Adventure Team and PE Lead.
You will:
- Oversee all aspects of trip planning, from initial ideas to final evaluation,
- Manage budgets and bookings for venues, transport, activities, and more
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external partners
- Ensure all trips are safe, inclusive, and run according to Trust policy,
- Be part of a team that inspires lifelong memories for our pupils.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone with excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. You’ll be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build strong relationships with both children and adults. Experience organising events or trips is essential, and a background in education or administration is desirable. This role is 15 hours per week and is term time only. Please note we can work with the successful applicant so this job can be carried out in any one of our 14 schools for location purposes.
