What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking an experienced Business Manager with a passion for excellence in education. This is a senior leadership position in the school and the post holder will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team. This role will oversee our day-to-day operations, lead cross-functional teams, and contribute to long-term strategic planning. This is a pivotal role for someone who is both analytical and people-oriented, with a passion for delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage business operations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with school objectives
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective leadership and communication
  • Managing Health & Safety
  • Managing Human Resources

What were looking for:

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • FMS experience (desirable not essential)
