What skills and experience we're looking for

Main Duties:

  • To work closely with our Chief Executive and school senior leadership teams, to play a key role in shaping our Trust as we grow and building upon the existing foundation of quality education
  • To drive consistent, sustained improvement across our schools at a strategic and operational level.
  • To take forward identified aims within our Trust strategic plan in partnership with our CEO, working in collaboration with school leaders to develop a clear remit for all.
  • Travel between schools within the Bolton and Bury region is essential to support and collaborate with our schools and stakeholders.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will:

  • Lead the Trust wide strategy for school improvement to ensure it is at the forefront of Trust wide strategic planning and decision making.
  • Possesses drive and creativity; with a strong track record of school improvement across the secondary phase, desirably within a Multi Academy Trust
  • Lead in all aspects of educational strategic development, collaboration, improvement and performance of all trust secondary schools, promoting a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Develop and sustain a clear focus on pupils’ outcomes, teaching and learning, curriculum and leadership development
  • Provide direct strategic and practical capacity / support to schools in need as required.
