What skills and experience we're looking for
As School Operations Manager, you will:
Lead and coordinate all non-teaching operational functions within the school.
Act as the key operational adviser to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
Line manage operational teams including reception, administration, reprographics, catering and cleaning staff.
Oversee educational visits administration, school transport, catering systems and key school services.
Coordinate health and safety, GDPR compliance and operational risk management.
Work in partnership with Trust colleagues across Finance, HR, Estates and Digital Services.
Ensure school systems, processes and records operate effectively and in line with Trust standards.
We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Significant experience in school operations, ideally within a secondary school environment.
A proven track record of managing diverse teams and operational services.
Strong knowledge of customer service, health and safety, GDPR and workforce administration.
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively across a Multi-Academy Trust.
A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding service.
