What skills and experience we're looking for

The Headteacher & Governors are looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic person to work in our busy but friendly reception area. As this is the first point of contact for visitors, we are looking for someone who is: personable and a good communicator; can work under pressure to tight deadlines and can work as part of a team to provide a high level of administrative support to the school. Moreover, a professional attitude and the ability to work well alongside staff, pupils, parents and visitors are essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and responding the school admin email account
  • Admissions
  • Managing cashless payment system
  • Attendance data, statistics and reports & liaison with the Headteacher and Services for Young People
  • Pupil database

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent time management
  • Good standards of literacy, numeracy and computing skills (GCSE Levels)
  • Confidence in using Microsoft and Google Suites
  • Previous office/administrative experience
  • Excellent typing skills
  • An understanding/ability to learn school online systems such as; Compass, and CPOMS.
