What skills and experience we're looking for
ESSENTIAL
- GCSE's with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working as a Science Technician
- A knowledge of Physics or practical experience in a technical or scientific context
- Experience of following health and safety procedures and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and students
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
DESIRABLE
- A recognised scientific or technical qualification
- Experience of working in a school environment
- A sound knowledge of COSHH and health and safety legislation

We are currently looking for a Science Technician to join our team of Science Technicians working in a very successful science department. Part-time will be considered. Previous experience would be advantageous but we are willing to train a suitable applicant.
37 hours per week
40 worked weeks per annum
£21,686 - £22,729 (actual salary per annum pro-rata)
