This is a fantastic opportunity to join St Mary’s CE Middle School in Puddletown and play an important role in supporting engaging science lessons.
We are seeking to appoint a part time Science Technician to work five mornings per week within our Science department; although other working patterns will be considered.
The main duties will include preparing equipment, resources and materials for demonstrations, experiments and practical lessons. As the Science Technician you will also help maintain stock, support laboratory organisation and ensure equipment is safe, clean and ready for use. As the Science Technician you will contribute to the smooth running of the department, supporting teaching staff, practical activities, enrichment sessions and the wider delivery of a high-quality science curriculum to pupils across Years 5 to 8.
This position is 22.5 hours per week, 8:40am to 1:10pm term time only. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible subject to the appropriate checks being completed. This is a permanent position.
