Cubitt Town Primary School opened on 1st April 2022 following the amalgamation of Cubitt Town Infant School and Cubitt Town Junior School. The school is a larger than average 3 form-entry, community maintained school with up to 700 pupils on roll. Children are aged from 3-11 years old. The school is in a three -storey building with spacious, well- resourced outdoor areas for play and learning.
We are situated on the Isle of Dogs within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, an area of considerable socio-economic contrasts. It is a diverse and vibrant area with good access to all that the capital has to offer. There is a community farm close to our school which offers children the opportunity to experience rural and city life simultaneously.
At Cubitt Town Primary School we envision a vibrant learning community where every child is nurtured to become a confident communicator, a collaborative team player, a curious and critical thinker, and a valued member of our school family. Our primary goal is to cultivate a love for learning by placing emphasis on oracy, collaboration, inquiry, and fostering a sense of belonging.
