What skills and experience we're looking for

For this post we are looking for a teacher who:
- Is an outstanding classroom practitioner able to motivate, engage and inspire pupils
- Has a good understanding of the 2015 SEND code of practice
- Is an advocate of Quality First Teaching and can lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children in the classroom
- Is committed to securing good outcomes for pupils with SEND across the curriculum
- Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Will oversee the work of Teaching Assistants leading interventions with children
- Is determined, resilient and has high expectations of themselves and the school
- Is flexible, has a good sense of humour and can work well in a year group team
- Is willing to engage in all aspects of school life

Commitment to safeguarding
Moss Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and expects that all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and other relevant statutory body checks, in accordance with KCSIE 2022. Two satisfactory references will also be required, alongside health and qualifications checks.
