SEND Class Teacher (Early Years Foundation Stage) job summary

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for every learner.
• Has experience of teaching pupils with SEND, particularly pupils with autism, communication needs and sensory differences.
• Has a strong understanding of child development and personalised learning.
• Can create engaging, creative and meaningful learning experiences that inspire pupils to learn.
• Can lead a delegated curriculum area.
• Values communication in all its forms and is committed to developing a total communication environment.
• Can work effectively alongside teaching assistants, therapists, families and other professionals.
