Are you a passionate primary teacher with a heart for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) education? If so, look no further!
The Cambourne Campus at Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School require a talented, enthusiastic qualified teacher to lead our successful SEND class.
We are proud to be able to provide excellent additional support for some of our most complex children. Our ‘Squirrels’ provision allows children to receive significant support closely tailored to their individual needs.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Has a commitment & passion to work with pupils with a wide and diverse range of SEND including ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language and SLD
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging, highly differentiated and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students in your class
- Implements EHCPS and behaviour management strategies to support the social, emotional and academic development of each pupil
- Collaborates with other teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student learning and wellbeing
- Monitors and assesses pupil’s progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents/carers and colleagues as well as identifying areas for further development or intervention as needed.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills
