EPA Trust Communication & Interaction Hub
Based at Hanborough Manor CE Primary School
Salary: Grade 2 (pro rata)
Hours: 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Contract: Temporary for fixed term for one year
The EPA Trust is seeking to appoint a caring, patient and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our dedicated team within our Communication & Interaction (C&I) Hub, based at Hanborough Manor CE Primary School.
Our C&I Hub provides specialist support for children with autism and communication and interaction needs from across the Trust. We are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued and able to flourish.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's daily experiences. Working alongside our experienced Hub staff, you will support pupils during the lunchtime period, helping them to enjoy a calm, positive and structured environment. This may include supporting children with eating their lunch, developing social communication skills, encouraging positive play and helping them regulate their emotions through a nurturing approach.
We are looking for someone who:- Has a calm, patient and caring nature.
- Enjoys working with children with additional needs, particularly autism and communication and interaction differences.
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with children.
- Is able to support children's emotional regulation and wellbeing.
- Can work effectively as part of a specialist team.
- Has high expectations and a commitment to inclusion.
- Shares the EPA Trust's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
