SEND Teacher Required – January 2023 or sooner Main Pay Scale (Outer London) M1-M6 Plus SEN Allowance Contract Type Fixed term for 1 year Commencing – January 2023 or sooner We would like to appoint an SEND teacher to join our supportive and friendly staff. This post would suit a teacher who has experience of teaching children with special educational needs, including autism. We are looking to set up small group provision for a group of children with ECHPs and complex needs including autism. This is a new exciting opportunity to set up and develop a school based SEN provision. Oakthorpe is a warm and welcoming school that serves a diverse community. Oakthorpe is a 2/3 form entry Primary School situated to the south of the London Borough of Enfield. The school is proud to be a provider of Initial Teacher Training and many of the teaching staff trained here themselves. Therefore we have a strong, stable and experienced workforce. Our core values of excellence, creativity, respect, confidence and creativity are at the heart of our curriculum. We offer a wide range of enrichment activities for all pupils. Pupil behaviour is excellent and we have strong partnerships with parents and other stakeholders. Staff have excellent relationships with pupils and really care about providing high quality education for all.
We have onsite provision for up to 8 children with speech, language and communication needs within a specialist resourced provision (SRP).
