- TA2 (applicants due to qualify welcome to apply) £9,065.40 - £ 15,214.20 (no SNA) per annum (£23500 - £23893 pro rata per annum)

What does the role look like?
- Under the direction of the SENCo / class teacher support individuals or groups of children to overcome barriers to learning enabling them to access their curriculum and make progress
- Developing a good understanding of the needs of the pupils you work with through familiarising yourself with Individual Provision Maps and any other relevant information
- Balancing the role of supporting children whilst at the same time promoting independence
- Work as part of a supportive SEND team
- When required, support the teacher with planning of activities, organising resources and contributing to a stimulating learning environment
- Liaising with teachers and parents/carers, informing on pupil progress and building positive relationships
- Potential to become a Thrive Practitioner and deliver the Thrive Approach to pupils across the school
- Working within the ethos of the school and upholding agreed policies and guidance

- Flexibility to take on different roles and work across the age ranges
- Understanding of the four areas of Special Educational Needs
- Practical experience of addressing barriers to learning
- Practical experience of delivering a range of interventions
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals
