Senior Finance Officer

Permanent role, 37 hours per week

Full time (TTO and reduced hours can be discussed)

Salary range: £33,366 to £35,235 (depending on experience)

The Senior Finance Officer will work as part of Finance Team at the school to assist in providing a high quality, efficient, effective, and supportive finance service for Colne Valley High School as part of the wider MAT finance offer. A high standard of communication, organisational, time management and customer service skills are essential.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in completing a range of financial transactions and producing accounts information, including benchmarking and KPI’s. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential as is a good level of IT skill. Producing financial reports for key stakeholders will be a key part of the role.

The successful candidate will be experienced in working in a busy office environment dealing with multiple work streams and will need to have gained previous experience within a similar role. Knowledge in an accounting software system would be an advantage and the successful candidate will be proficient in using excel.

We are looking for someone who is adept at problem solving, with an ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
