Senior Leadership Team Administrator job summary
Milton Mount Primary School is a thriving three-form entry primary school with approximately 630 pupils and 90 staff. We are seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive Senior Leadership Team Administrator to provide high-level administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team and play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
This is an exciting and varied role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and building positive relationships with staff, parents and external professionals.
As SLT Administrator, you will act as a key point of support for the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteachers, SENCo and School Business Manager. The role combines executive-level administration, SEND administration, HR support and project coordination, ensuring the school operates efficiently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries, meetings and appointments for members of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and taking accurate minutes.
- Supporting safeguarding processes and maintaining confidential records.
- Leading the administration of EHCP annual reviews and SEND documentation.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, staff absence management and training administration.
- Coordinating staff wellbeing initiatives and school development projects.
- Providing administrative support across the wider school when required.
About You
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Can communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and external agencies.
- Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Has experience working in an administrative office environment.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
- Is proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a school environment.
- Knowledge of Arbor or other school information management systems.
- Understanding of GDPR requirements.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and education-sector compliance requirements.
