Site Services Officer job summary
The Lion Academy Trust consists of four schools in the Wellingborough Hub, Warwick Academy, Ruskin Academy, Ruskin Infant & Nursery & Olympic Primary Academy. We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic person to join our Site Services Team to work at Ruskin Academy NN8 3EG.
The role of the Site Services Officer is to support the Operations Manager, Parent Advisory Board and Head of School to ensure the internal and external areas of the premises are clean, well-maintained, secure and that janitorial tasks are carried out with the appropriate resources and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring a safe and high quality environment to support the educational needs and emotional welfare of the staff and pupils of the school. Your core duties will include:
Site Security.
Energy Management
Grounds & Site Maintenance
Environmental Management
Line managing a small team of Cleaning operatives
Candidates should be able to undertake a range of minor DIY and maintenance jobs , ensure the grounds and premises are kept clean and tidy, support cleaning teams, porterage, and on occasions may be required to oversee works being carried out on site by external contractors.
As a part of our Site Services Team, you will be a happy, obliging character and be flexible and adaptable with your approach to the role. You must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. You will need to have great communication skills, be detail focused and diligent, taking pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability, be solution focused whilst adhering to the Trust’s policies and procedures.
