We are looking to appoint a music teacher to deliver the music curriculum throughout KS1 and KS2. Your time would be spent delivering the music curriculum with responsibility for the end of term concerts, musical productions, leading the choir and music ensembles.
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver inspiring lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum requirements to KS1 and KS2 children. They must be able to lead extra curriculum activities such as choirs and instrument-based clubs at an excellent standard. At school events throughout the year, the ideal candidate must be able to coordinate and show case both school choirs and ensembles during these events.
We are looking for someone with ambition and vision; someone who will thrive on our core values of Commitment, Aspiration and Nurture as well as sharing our goal of unlocking positive futures for all our children. The successful candidate needs to be confident in their ability to teach outstanding lessons, demonstrating enthusiasm and passion at all times. The must be able to have excellent behaviour and classroom management and be able to motivate and inspire children to exceed.
This part-time post would be suitable for a recently qualified teacher, or we would welcome applications from experienced teachers. What matters is that you are an enthusiastic and talented teacher, with high expectations for all children, and a strong commitment to your own continuing professional development.
