Alongside this, you will work closely with students, families and staff to monitor attendance, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every young person has the best opportunity to succeed.

The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, highly organised and able to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues alike. You will be an excellent communicator with a compassionate and professional approach, recognising the important role you play in supporting the health, wellbeing and educational outcomes of our students.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of a school community that places student wellbeing, inclusion and achievement at the centre of everything we do.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a minimum First Aid at Work qualification (3-day course) or is willing to maintain this qualification.
  • Has experience of working in a health, welfare or attendance role.
  • Is highly organised with excellent administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Can remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy school environment.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is approachable, caring and committed to supporting young people.
  • Has excellent attendance, reliability and time management skills.
  • Is able to work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.

In return, we can offer:

  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to students' lives.
  • A supportive and friendly staff team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Eye Care Voucher Scheme.
  • Annual Flu Vaccination Programme.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
