What skills and experience we're looking for

The school wishes to appoint a talented individual to lead this key area of Post 16 provision, further developing high quality teaching and learning that inspires students in Y12 and Y13 and raises standards.

The successful candidate should be able to drive curriculum development, from a clear vision, through collaborative planning, to high outcomes and positive engagement. Current experience in working at A level/L3 should position a candidate to lead this department in the next phase of its growth.

They should be able to teach a combination of Psychology, Sociology and/or Criminology. These are popular courses within the Sixth Form, with six groups in each year.
