What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Early years qualification approved as full and relevant by the Department for Education (DfE)
  • Abilityto use language and other communication skills that children can understand and relate to.
  • Abilityto empathise with the needs of children and in particular able to establish positive relationships with pupils.
  • Abilityto supervise groups of pupils.

Tyneview Primary School is seeking to appoint a Support Assistant Level 2 in Early Years. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to provide classroom support under the direction of the teacher, answering to pupils’ social, emotional and physical needs.
