What skills and experience we're looking for

Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. We have a Primary school (New Oaks) and a Secondary school (High Oaks). We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.

A new opportunity has arisen for a swimming pool assistant to join our High Oaks and New Oaks team. The role has been designed to support teachers in preparing for and after swimming lessons and maintain a clean and orderly environment in the swimming pool area. You will work under the directions of the staff to support students and to promote independence in the student’s self-help skills.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant experience of working with Children or young adults who have support needs.

Actual working hours: 09.15am – 3.00pm Across both sites

An essential pre-employment induction will be arranged
