The faculty benefits from state-of-the-art facilities. Our new Technologies block, CREATE, opened two years ago and includes:
- Two modern workshops
- A dedicated IT suite
- A state-of-the-art engineering room
- Two modern food rooms
- 48 machines across the department, including 3D printers, lathes, laser cutters and standard workshop machines
- In addition, the Computing and Business department has the use of three further fully equipped IT suites.

The Derby High School is an over-subscribed 11-16 Co-Educational School situated in the heart of Bury, Greater Manchester.
