What skills and experience we're looking for
Leigh Stationers' Academy is looking to appoint an engaging, knowledgeable and dedicated Teacher of English, joining us in September 2025.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
- Experience of teaching GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature
- A comprehensive understanding of the research and cognitive science behind what makes effective teaching
- The desire to forge strong relationships with colleagues and willingness to collaborate for the benefit of all students and staff

This is a permanent role offering MPS/UPS commensurate with experience + Inner Allowance.
