Teacher of History
Main Pay Scale
Required for September 2025
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of History to join our dedicated and hardworking Humanities team at Central Region Schools Trust. The successful candidate will be deployed at Ipsley CofE Middle School, however, in time opportunities would be sought to give experience of teaching KS4 & KS5 in one of our secondary phased schools.
As a previously designated National Teaching School, leading on staff development and initial teacher training, we offer clear opportunities for personal and professional development.
You will share in the ethos of Central Region Schools Trust and have the necessary drive and commitment to contribute to our continued improvement. The collaborative nature of the Central Region School’s Trust will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to lead cohesive and consistent learning experiences for students within History both at Ipsley CofE Middle School and beyond.
This is an extremely exciting time to join the Central Region Schools Trust and the Redditch pyramid in particular. Outstanding provision for students over time has led to three successive ‘Outstanding’ judgements by Ofsted (May 2014, December 2018 & October 2024) at Arrow Vale, whilst Ipsley have had three successive ‘Good’ judgements, with their latest SIAMS Inspection deeming the school to be a ‘highly effective’ Church school. This combined with the cooperative ethos of staff and students, make the Central Region Schools Trust an innovative and highly rewarding place to teach.
