We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated teacher of History
to join our talented and forward-thinking department

- Teach History across all Key Stages

You are likely to be someone who:
- Is an inspirational and skilled classroom teacher
- Has an acute understanding of effective pedagogy
- Understands how to enable students to achieve at the highest level
- Believes in the power of education and wider educational experiences to transform the lives of the most disadvantaged
- Will embrace our highly supportive, professional approach to school improvement
Will promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
Who we are looking for
- An honours degree (or equivalent) in History or a related discipline
- A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of improving outcomes for students in History as a classroom teacher
- Successful experience of teaching History across Key Stage 3-4
- An understanding of effective pedagogy
- An individual who is committed to supporting the vision of Twynham TGS
- An individual with excellent classroom management skills
