We have an exciting opening for an enthusiastic, committed Teacher of Science to join our Science Department at North Cambridge Academy. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with the passion and drive to inspire a love of learning in our students, while becoming an expert in your field.

  • Set goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions.

  • Encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

The ideal candidate

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
  • Understands and is committed to teaching standards.
  • Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.
  • Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
  • Has a positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach towards work.
  • Has a willingness to undergo further training and development.
