What skills and experience we're looking for
This post becomes available from January 2027 due to staff relocation. With French, German and Spanish taught at Parkstone from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, we offer linguistic diversity and excellence for an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher. The staff in these departments work collegiately and are also pro-actively involved in whole school teaching and learning developments. From September 2024 all three languages began teaching the new Edexcel GCSEs and reviewing their teaching of younger year groups to provide a comprehensive and progressive curriculum. The position offers excellent prospects for a committed candidate to work in a highly effective and very successful area of the School.
The successful candidate will need to teach Spanish to A Level and the ability to offer French would be an advantage. They should be someone who can continue to inspire, enthuse and bring out the best in all our students.
