We are seeking to appoint two excellent teachers to join our wonderful team to ‘bloom and grow’ at Moorlands Schools Federation. There are two posts; one is for a full-time maternity cover and one is for a part-time fixed-term contract initially until 31 August 2027.

Please make it clear on your application which role you are interested in.

Moorlands Schools Federation comprises two schools: Moorlands Infant School and Moorlands Junior School. Our schools are very special places for learners of all ages. Our Federation occupies a green and leafy learning environment across 10 acres in the beautiful historic city of Bath. We offer children and staff who come to our schools a vibrant, friendly, fun and purposeful community where they can all experience our vision of ‘space to grow for any tomorrow’. Our thriving and over-subscribed school places great emphasis on pupil and staff wellbeing, as well as our strong golden threads of diversity, inclusion, sustainability and learning through high-quality texts.

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for Key Stage 2 classroom teachers to join our supportive and dynamic staff team on a full-time or part-time basis. Please specify your subject specialisms, strengths and interests within your supporting statement.

We are looking for passionate and inspirational practitioners who are committed to providing the highest quality learning and who are able to work well as part of a team. You will have a strong track record in raising standards and leading a subject; please include examples of how you have demonstrated this within your supporting statement.

We warmly encourage visits and calls to the school to give prospective candidates the chance to find out more about our happy and welcoming school community. To fully appreciate all that Moorlands can offer both in terms of professional development and our stunning school setting, please contact the office to book a tour via email: office@moorlands-school.com . Alternatively, please get in touch with the school office to arrange a telephone call with the Deputy Headteacher.
