Our Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work as part of our committed staff team. Hours of work, 1.30pm - 3.30pm, Monday – Friday.

The successful applicants will:

  • Have experience working with children in primary school.
  • Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
  • Have a good understanding of SEND in schools
  • Have good mathematical and English skills
  • Be able to form positive relationships with children, families and staff
  • Be able to support the children within the class, during break times and around the school.
  • Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
  • Be able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
  • Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
  • Be willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
