Hours: 8.30am to 3.15pm - Monday-Friday, Term time only from Thursday 1st September 2026

Range: Bucks Pay Range 1 point 10B pro-rata 38 weeks per annum

St Joseph’s Catholic Infant School and St Edward’s Catholic Junior School are part of the St Thomas Catholic Academies Trust. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, to work within our schools with children aged 4-11, supporting children 1:1 with a range of abilities in English and Maths. This is a part time, fixed term post across both schools. This will be until 31.08.2027.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, trustworthy, inspirational, adaptable and energetic person to join our schools.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with children or be keen to explore a career within teaching.

When working with our children you will have the sensitivity to know when to intervene, when to encourage, and when to allow a child to work independently.

We have a proven, successful track record of supporting the ongoing development of staff and love working with people who bring enthusiasm and new ideas.

The successful candidate will be required to fully support our Catholic ethos.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
