At Bearbrook Preschool we are looking to employ an NVQ Level 3 practitioner as a Deputy Manager to join our team in our wonderful setting. Our pre-school is a large, bright and welcoming space where our 2 to 4 year old preschool children can learn, develop and flourish.

Reporting into our EYFS Lead, we are seeking to recruit an energetic and hardworking Preschool Deputy Manager to join our team at this important stage in our development. This will be an exciting role in which you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of our team and environment. We are looking for team players who understand the importance of building positive relationships with children in order to maximise their potential.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Deputy Manager who:
Is genuinely passionate about early childhood education and consistently places children at the centre of their practice.
Has a thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters guidance.
Leads by example and serves as a positive role model to colleagues and children alike.
Communicates clearly, respectfully, and effectively with children, families, and team members.
Champions inclusive education and is committed to supporting the needs of all children.
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, close-knit team.
Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a proactive attitude in meeting the changing needs of Preschool.
Is committed to continuous improvement and actively contributes to the growth and development of the setting.
Maintains high expectations for the care, learning, and development of every child.
Holds a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
That they are confident and passionate about Early Years Education and as result will be a role-model for others.
The desire to be an active member of the school team, creating a strong culture of learning which encourages ideas, contributions from others, collaborative working and upholding and seeing through decisions made.
An interest in new developments and initiatives.
A willingness to be flexible and embrace change.
