Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking for two experienced Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful school as members of our fantastic support staff team, to work with pupils who have Education, Health and Care Plans.
The following qualities will be essential in this post:
Excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills
Experience of working with children in the primary phase
Experience of working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs
Sound understanding of the skills required to support children in their learning
Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
Experience of supporting SEMH needs
The following Experience/ skills are desirable:
Experience of using strategies to build self esteem
Experience of using child centred approaches to support SEMH needs
