What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, working closely with teachers to support students’ learning and development. In addition to classroom duties, part of your role will include providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Duties:
- Support students in lessons, either one-to-one or in small groups
- Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Help manage student behaviour and engagement
- Support the tracking and recording of student progress
- Provide administrative assistance including data entry, filing, photocopying, and supporting school communications
- Assist with maintaining pupil records and supporting staff with various school systems
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to multitask
- A genuine interest in supporting students to reach their potential
