What skills and experience we're looking for
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience of working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
- An understanding of SEND and strategies to support a range of needs
- A commitment to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged learners
- A desire to learn and develop professionally as part of a high-performing team
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning
- Provide targeted support for children with SEND, including those with complex needs
- Deliver interventions and support individual provision
- Promote inclusion, positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Supervision of children, including at break, lunchtimes, and during wider school activities
