  • Experience of working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • An understanding of SEND and strategies to support a range of needs
  • A commitment to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged learners
  • A desire to learn and develop professionally as part of a high-performing team
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support pupils in the classroom, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning
    • Provide targeted support for children with SEND, including those with complex needs
    • Deliver interventions and support individual provision
    • Promote inclusion, positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
    • Supervision of children, including at break, lunchtimes, and during wider school activities
