What skills and experience we're looking for
The governors of Irk Valley Community School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support learning in our KS2 team in the first instance. The job will involve in class support, delivering interventions and supporting children with SEND where necessary.
The successful candidate must:
-have worked in a primary school setting for at least 2 years.
-have substantial experience of supporting learning in a classroom in either in KS1 or KS2
-have experience of working as part of a staff team in the interests of the children in their care.
-be confident in the use of IT to record provision and communicate with parents.
-have a track record of communicating effectively and clearly with pupils, parents and staff.
-show a capacity and commitment to demonstrating the school’s values behaviours in their daily work.
