What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the learning in the Primary classrooms on a permanent basis. This may include interventions for pupils with Education Health Care Plans.
The primary role of the teaching assistant is to work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. This role may include supporting pupils in the classroom and taking small group interventions in another space within school.
The ideal candidate for this role will want to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your position within these.
