  • Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils

Radcliffe on Trent Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team to begin on a one-year fixed-term contract dependant on pupil numbers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and who will work alongside teachers to provide high-quality support for learning. The successful candidate will support pupils within the classroom and through individual and small-group work, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence and make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The role will include supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum, providing tailored support for pupils with a range of needs and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment. This will include supporting pupils who may experience emotional dysregulation, helping them to use appropriate strategies to regulate and successfully re-engage with learning. Support may also be provided during less structured times, such as breaktimes, and through movement or regulation breaks where appropriate.
