£25,583-£25,989 Pro rata

What skills and experience we're looking for

-A commitment to ongoing staff development and thedevelopment of others.

-A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfareof children and young people.

-Communicates effectively & confidently.

-NQF Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning orevidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained throughexperience.

-Working in an environment where literacy and numeracyskills have been demonstrated.

-Using a range of computer applications and ICT includingword processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentationsoftware, internet and e-mail.

-Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of pupils.

-Understanding of national/foundation stage curriculumand other learning programmes.

-Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation eg:child protections and health and safety.

-Experience of working with special educational needs

-Practical knowledge of contributing to a range ofteaching and learning activities.

-Understanding of how children develop and learn.

-Experience of working in a school.

-Experience of working as a teaching assistant or equivalentincluding working with children with complex needs.
